M bakes bread with Mom

Ever on the lookout for sensory opportunities, Mom bakes bread with M...the little girl who usually does not like her hands messy thinks the dough is pretty cool. But it doesn't take long before she is wiping up her hands and trying to help Mom clean the counter. The bread was delicious!

A Princess and Her Shoes!

Everytime M saw Mom leave the house, she held out her arm pointing to where a purse should be. When grandma came to visit, she noticed and said, "That girl needs a purse of her own!" Not to be stopped, Mimi went to many stores to find just the right purse with enough girly details. When presented with the gift, M giggled with glee and then promptly held out her foot and said, "Shoes?"

Did we ever laugh!

Of course, Mimi had to help her first granddaughter with the dilemma and went back out to find sparkly shoes with a bit of a heel. Little M toddles all around now with her sparkly things. For dinner last night, she scrambled to "dress" to the nines...purse and shoes to the table! Too cute!
