Sleigh Ride

We're late in posting about this, but over the holidays we enjoyed a beautiful sleigh ride in VT. M was not sure about the big horses, but the boys convinced her that it would be ok...although cold, she loved it and so did we!

We've Never Had THIS Before!

So...we're still marveling at boy/girl differences in our house. Today I (J) took M shopping hoping to find some end of the season bargains. I had to watch M carefully as she likes to pick her own things and put them in the cart. Mind you, she doesn't do this at the grocery store or Target...just at clothing stores. She was in HEAVEN in the shoe section. After pointing out many ideas herself that were not agreed to be me (all the wrong sizes) she began calling people on her Cinderella cell phone. I turned my back to check sizes on something when I heard, "Uh-Oh, Mama." I turned around and immediately noticed her hands were covered with something pink and gooey. "M! What happened?" That was when I looked my sweet angel in the face....and noticed a whole set of lips AND upper lip area COVERED with shiny pink lip gloss! Our daughter had grown a pink moustache in 15 seconds! Little Miss Make-Up had opened my purse and helped herself only to realize she couldn't sneak the lid back on the gloss without covering her hands. Now THAT'S something we've never experienced with our boys!
