Transfusion Day

This will be my first day going solo for transfusion day. We were both at the first one; we both started at the second--but J. did the bulk. J. did it all last time. Today, I'll take a turn. I'm a little nervous about how she'll do with me. She doesn't like the room, the needles--any of it. She's going to be upset and there's not much even J. can do about that. So, I'll give it a go. I'm looking forward to the one on one time with her after the hard stuff of the morning.

Update on the Week

The dentist appointment went great! We let her watch her brother get checked out first. J had his first cavity which the dentist thinks was because the tooth didn't grow properly while he was young - apparently if you have a fever when your teeth are growing in they are very susceptible to decay. In any event, J opted to have it taken care of right away. He was thrilled saying, "YES! I get to miss more school!" sigh. He will live with us forever. lol.

Miss M would NOT sit in the chair unless she was on my lap. She was terrified alone. However, on my lap she was fine. She liked seeing her teeth on the computer screen. But most of all, she liked the toy she got when she was done!
