Despite having no power at home, school began today for the littlest Pekari's! Gabe was happy to go 3rd grade with "the nicest teacher in the school" and Mia headed out the door to Kindergarten. She is so excited to learn to read, but even more excited to ride the bus!

Heard from a fellow mom who was at the school this morning that Mia got off the bus grinning ear to ear and that Gabe walked with his arm around her all the way down the hall to her Kindergarten room to make sure she got there safely. Does it get any better than that?
