Thanks, Mimi!

R's parents love to give books to our kids. One of their favorites is the Guiness Book of World Records. "Dude! The guy's eyebrows are on the ground!" "The longest beard on a woman is 11 inches!" And so it goes.

Summer must be getting long because this morning N came into the kitchen to find a six year old sitting in a cooler filled with water and ice...BUCK NAKED.

"What are you DOING?" he exclaimed.

As innocently as could be G replied, "Trying to set a world record! The longest a boy can sit in cold water naked!"

When asked later about it, G said..."You have NO idea how cold ice is on your bummy."

Some days with boys you just have to shake your head.

How Sweet It Is...

This afternoon, we took our kids down to the CT shore to a beautiful spot on the beach. The kids enjoyed wading in the water and watching the ships sail by. N's having fun learning how to take good digital pix. After 13 years with maybe 6 total shots of us as a couple, we may actually be able to document we're actually together now. :-)
