Day #3 Hollywood and Fantasmic!

We wait in an enormous line for 2.5 hours to see Fantasmic, the famous Mickey show.

The kids think seeing all their favorite characters is worth the wait!

Day #2 Epcot

Continuing the planned fun, we head to Epcot on Day #2. Same early morning boot camp drill...up in the dark, storming the gates. We attempt "the pix" in front of the ball, but M is mesmerized by map reading and must read them everywhere we go.

We get a better one later in China.

A princess sighting! One of M's FAV's, Sleeping Beauty! She squeals with delight and RUNS to get in line only to get HUGELY shy and overwhelmed when it's actually her turn to meet the sweet lady.

Disney...Here we Come!

This week we're enjoying a wonderful time at Disney World! This is our first time here as a family of six, but we didn't stop there; we joined with the entire Pekari clan, including R's parents and his brother's family! Fun is being had by all, with only a few exhausted tears thrown in. :-)

When the whole Pekari clan gets together, they transform into expert trip planners on a MISSION. It's really something to behold. We are up at the crack of dawn to be at the parks BEFORE THEY OPEN...and we stand there to be in the first group in the park. We have a plan for each morning. Certain fast walkers are sent to grab fast passes, while others cart smaller children to the most popular rides first. The goal is always to spend as little time in the lines as possible.

See? I'm not joking...we are here so early it's cold. And this is FL! At least they have a great show to watch while you wait to get in!

Being in early pays off and the kids meet Mickey and Minnie early on.

The kids are loving their time together. We're thrilled to see how much the big kids jump in to help the little kids by carrying Mia, pushing the stroller, etc. So much love!

We spent a bunch of time on the smaller kid rides in the morning, like Aladdin and Dumbo, Snow White and Peter Pan.

Then it was off to enjoy the "bigger kid rides," with grandparents having a blast. After all, Buzz Lightyear is for everyone!


And we found plenty of time to be ridiculous in the middle of it all.

We finished the day the traditional way...with thousands of other people watching

Well, make that thousands minus one...She just couldn't quite make it despite desperately trying to stay awake to see Cinderella.

It's been a great day, but by the end...we all agree...we are parked in the right lot...GRUMPY!
