Strawberry Festival

We finally all went to our Town's annual Strawberry Festival.  We saw friends, ate Strawberry Shortcake and funnel cake and had fun!

Devil's Hopyard Camping Trip

This weekend I took Gabe, Joe, their three cousins and two friends from church on an over-night camping trip to Devil's Hopyard St Park.  It was a blast. The boys were GREAT and we had FUN. Camp fire. Swimming (apparently contrary to the desire of Park officials). Nice hike. Critters.

Soccer

Gabe had his second season on Travel Soccer.  As has been previously mentioned: He's really fun to watch. He scores at least once (if not more) in almost every game. WOW is that FUN!  We're proud of him to be sure.  The town has a really good program, and we are grateful.  They even organized a fun night at a near-by Major League Soccer (MLS) game.  What a blast.  I went with Gabe (for his birthday) and his Uncle Caleb (for helping to coach Gabe's team).

PS...The trip wasn't even spoiled by the fact that it was in Gillette Stadium, home field of the NFL New England Patriots.

We are stymied.  J cannot get this "new post" page to load up on her computer. *I* cannot get this "new post" page to load up on her computer.  We don't know how to fix it.  I've tried "help." I've tried "googling it."  We got nothin.

And that, friends, is why there's been nada here since that recent flurry of posts.  Posts were imagined.  But posts could not be typed.

But here I am....posting. On my computer.

What is Jessemyn doing?  She is attempting to begin her first on-line class toward her masters. PLEASE pray for her.  There are already technical difficulties, and it seems overwhelming.  I KNOW she's going to do great, but getting started is a little daunting. Especially when the topic is Statistics. (Math?!? Really?!? egads.)

So, while she is valiantly starting out, I intend to post some pictures and things.

I know.  You really want HER here writing.  But take what you can get. :-)
