Magical Birthdays

Some birthdays are just birthdays...special days with the ones you love...maybe some cake and presents thrown in.  A little pause to celebrate, but no fanfare.  Others are bit more magical.  This year was one of the little extra special kind.  Each girl got to invite a few close friends

for candy house making at a snow covered table...a pink glimmery tree, chocolate covered pretzels, pink lemonade in fancy glances with ribbons...

 Do you think mom will notice if we just sneak one of those?

 Even Caroline and Molly got to come.  Poor Violet!  It was hard to convince her to let me take a picture.  She went sledding a few days ago and got a huge brush burn on her face.  She's beautiful to us no matter what!

 The girls loved their take home gifts....adorable cupcake look alikes made out of chocolate in the most adorable little bakery boxes.

It was even gently snowing outside.  Perfect!
