Some kids get a little...shall we say...antsy before the holidays. Not our Mia. There's no way to get worked up about Christmas because she's too busy getting excited about her birthday!
She's been looking forward to getting her ears pierced FOREVER. It was time. And boy, does she like the sparkle! She got a bit nervous in the middle, but then fell in love. She checked them out in the handheld mirror...and EVERY mirror between the piercing pagoda and mall exit. Let me tell you, that's a LOT of mirrors!
Of course, there was a mermaid cake...which we all felt really weird about setting on fire with candles. Here we are walking in with a woman being engulfed in flames...kinda strange. But she loved it! She especially loved the gifts sent from family far away.
