Welcome, Violet Xin Ni!

This past winter, a little face with a chipmunk grin stole my heart. I began praying that she would find a family. Little did I know, we would be the answer to that prayer!
(Referral picture)Violet's paperwork shared some absolutely heart-wrenching details. Details that are hers alone to share when and if she chooses someday. But one thing brought tears to my eyes. Her favorite thing to do is dance. Can you imagine? After all she's been through to find any joy, any ability to still find pleasure in life...such courage astounds me. And dancing can't be easy for Violet. You see, she has NO FOOT. And yet she dances.
As I read her information and looked at her sweet face I couldn't help but think of the Scripture that reads
"You've turned my mourning into dancing again. You've lifted my sorrow. I can't stay silent. I will sing for your joy has come."
We can't WAIT to introduce Violet to the best reason to rejoice! Jesus!
If all goes smoothly, we'll be traveling to China in 10-12 weeks to hold her for the first time. We.can't.wait.
