Easter Joy

This year, our family was so full of JOY as we celebrated Easter. The kids are all understanding more and more what the passion of Christ truly is. Of course, being a pastor's family and all, we were super busy preparing and serving too, which makes for an emotional week! Noah sang with the choir and served Easter breakfast with the youth group. Joseph was my right hand man with the littles. Gabe got up on his own to go to sunrise service. Randall shared many sermons and I sang. And the girls? They kept counting down sleeps until they could wear their Easter dresses and go to the egg hunt! Violet thought it was marvelous that the eggs were filled with candy, but her favorite thing was petting animals at our church's Eggstravaganza (an event we host for our community the day before Easter celebrating new life in Jesus).

Note to self: Take a picture BEFORE the end of the morning. Noah's tie already removed. Gabe's shoes already replaced by rollerblades. The girls ready to play with friends and not stand still for a picture. Maybe some year!
