Scare Away Hunger

This year on Halloween, we were invited to a Scare Away Hunger event in our area.  Everyone who came in costume and donated canned goods received free candy.  We had fun packing up over 3,000 meals that will be shared with those in need locally.  When we finished, we let the kids trick or treat at a few houses.

The Marx Brothers was the boys' idea and they had a ball.  Joe even carried a horn in his pocket.  :-)  Violet wanted so much to be Winnie the Pooh.  When she tried her costume on her whole countenance filled with wonder and delight.  It was a magical moment.  Mia decided to be Piglet "so Violet won't be alone."  I decided on pink sweats that could be worn again. ;-)  I'd say this picture pretty well sums up our family right now....ridiculously silly boys who love being brothers and adorably sweet girls who are still young and innocent.  Love them all!
